About the Show…

We have added a “Pop-up show” for Scott’s current tour schedule, and we are very excited to be the ONLY show this tour where he will be joined by Grammy Nominated Lew London – We hope you will make the time to join us for what we know will be a well attended and well received show this year – it is not often that you have an opportunity to see a talent paring like this in a small venue intimate environment!

About The Artists – Scott and Lew…

Scott:

Singer, songwriter, guitarist, storyteller, traveler and road warrior are all words that aptly describe Scott Kirby. Finishing songs while driving through the Italian countryside, performing 100 plus live shows throughout the US and Canada, touring Ireland with 50 fans in tow, and recording his tenth album in Nashville, all keep the barnacles off this modern-day troubadour.

When it comes to songwriting, Kirby respects authenticity and counts on everyday life and his coastal roots for much of his inspiration. “I don’t wake up every day thinking about writing the next commercial hit,” says Kirby. “Songwriting for me is about telling stories, expressing emotions, and commentary on things I may find funny or absurd.” Over the years Kirby has shared the stage with some of his favorite artists: Carole King, Jimmy Buffett, Tom Rush, Mac McAnally, Darius Rucker, Livingston Taylor, Marty Stewart, Asleep at the Wheel and others.

When not on the road or performing in Key West, Kirby splits his time between Key West and the coast of Maine, where he can often be found sailing, a lifelong passion of this descendent of Newfoundland fishermen. He’s also recently discovered a little town in Southern France, where he plans to lay his head a month or two each year.

Lew:

Lew London is a multi instrumentalist, singer, composer with an eclectic range of musical tastes and a passion for traditional roots music and jazz. Lew has performed and toured the country since the early seventies. He has recorded with Grammy winners Steve Goodman, Mavis Staples and as a studio musician for many artists throughout his long career.

Lew was a candidate for Guitar Player Magazine’s guitar player of the year in 1977. Lew’s Philo/Rounder album “Swingtime in Springtime” met with sparkling reviews and is available in the USA and Japan. Lew participated in performance and production of “Singing Through the Hardtimes”, a tribute to Utah Phillips nominated for a grammy in 2010. Lew is also a live sound and recording engineer, producer and an Avid Certified Instructor for Pro Tools. He spent 18 years as Executive Director of Chartertech High School for the Performing Arts in Somers Point, NJ.

He lives in Florida and focuses on performing and recording music. Lew has accompanied Scott Kirby often during their 25+ year friendship. He performed, engineered, produced, and mixed Scott’s “Sol Searching” CD.

Suggested Donation for this show is $20 a person, and there are limited VIP seats available as well by request, Suggested Donation for VIP is $35 a person… (a donation at that level is an automatic VIP of course!) – use the below section for predonations, but PLEASE read below there too, and RSVP on this page (yes, it is still a two step thing…)

When you pre-donate, use the above link, use the total amount for all people, and understand it will show as “one ticket” (their wording isn’t really good) – this is “one donation” to us, the RSVPs is where we know how many people are coming – so for example, if you are contributing the recommended $20 per person and you are 3 people, your $60 donation will show as one, but your RSVP is for 3, and we are expecting 3 of you! Also, remember that 100% of this goes to the Musicians! A final note, if you want VIP seating, a $35 donation per person means we will go the extra distance and reserve seating at your choice (email us details of your request, like front row, or a table) and we will arrange this… we’ll even include a playbill to get signed, and perhaps another few goodies as well! (note, we can not track this properly without a pre-donation, contact us if you need to… note that we only know you want the VIP experience through the donation amount!)

RSVP deadline is past
