Will Kimbrough at The Habitat!

About Will…
Will is probably best known in our Trop Rock community for writing the song “Bubbles Up”, which is likely the most moving and important songs on Jimmy Buffett’s last recorded album, which was released after his passing last year.
Will Kimbrough has spent a lifetime writing songs and performing them, along the way becoming a respected recording artist, producer and musician. His latest album is I Like It Down Here and his next release is Spring Break, a solo acoustic record in the tradition of Folkways and Vanguard folk records.
Will’s songs have been recorded by Jimmy Buffett, Little Feat, Todd Snider, Jack Ingram, Gretchen Peters and many others.
His production credits include Buffett, Doug Seegers, Todd Snider, Radney Foster and Steve Poltz.
Will is a prolific writer and recording artist, a member of Willie Sugarcapps, DADDY and Emmylou Harris’ Red Dirt Boys.
This is a show that should not be missed…
OF NOTE!!! as many of you know, The Habitat rode the northern eyewall of hurricane Milton, and we did sustain some irreversible damage as we have lost the Habitat Tree (one of the largest Live Oaks in Bradenton, estimated to be about 100 yrs old) – and our yard/seating area will take some time to recover.
As such, we have decided we need to keep this show in the evening timeframe as we no longer have shade over the entire yard. We also request that you wear flat comfortable shoes, and be cautious walking in the yard as we are still releveling everything after the removal of the storm.
If you are interested in helping us with recovery, please chat with Heather, we will be working on replanting our native flora, and will be planting a new live oak tree of as large a size we can obtain in it’s spot when the land is ready for it. Thank you for supporting live music at The Habitat!
